RESTAURANTS

This is the category where I am the expert!  Eating out is definitely one of my favorite past times!  When I show a house...most of the women go right for the kitchen....not me...my perfect kitchen would have a small refrigerator, microwave and the yellow pages opened to restaurants!!

Here is my suggested list:

Breakfast ~ Palm City does not have, as of yet, an I-Hop.  I do believe sometime in the near future they will realize that they forgot about us.  But for now we have Panera Bread Company,  M & M, Dunkin' Donuts, Moe's Bagels, good ol' McDonald's and Burger King, Tropical Smoothie is now serving breakfast, and we growing up and soon we will have our very own Starbucks.

My favorite breakfast is a short hop and a jump over the Palm City Bridge to 2 Jays.  You can always get the breakfast you like there.  Downtown Stuart, only a few minutes away has many quaint breakfast spots...Osceola Cafe is a wonderful place for breakfast, and it's always fun to go to Downtown Stuart.

Lunch ~ The local Palm City hang-out for lunch seems to be Panera Bread Company...you can walk in there between 12:00 and 2:00 and find many friends and neighbors.  Always someone to sit and chat with.  Of course, Manero's is open a few days a week for lunch also.

My favorite lunch spot ~ Atlanta Bread Company for a quick bite on the run.  Lady Anne's Tea House in Stuart for a special lunch.  Or Osceola Cafe in Downtown Stuart is not only great for breakfast, but for lunch or a fine dinner.

Dinner ~ Now that's a hard one.  There are many fine restaurants in the Palm City/Stuart area.  Palm City Grill is about the best dinner spot in Palm City right now.  Manero's isn't bad either.
I can tell you some of my favorites...but, there are too many to list all of them....
Thai Food ~ Thep Thai ~ Located in Stuart. Always consistent.  Hosts are sweet and accommodating.
Italian Food ~ La Familia ~ Located in Downtown Stuart.  Quaint eatery in an old house.  Food is always good.  Great ambiance.
Seafood ~ Lots of good ones!  Bonefish in Stuart has great crab cakes...but not as good as Bradlee's on Clematis Street in West Palm Beach.  New England Seafood in Jensen Beach is Keyzie and fun.  A little "whole in the wall" in Stuart, Neptune, has great fried shrimp.
Steak Dinner ~ I don't eat meat, but, my husband will drive the 30 minutes to West Palm Beach to eat at Ruth Chris's Steak House.  Their crabcakes aren't bad either!!
Pizza ~ Palm City has a few pizza spots to offer, Big Apple Pizza, Roma's, and a few others.  My favorite is Carmella's on Ocean Boulevard in Stuart.  Quaint wine bar and good food!!
